Terms of Service

By using freecharityreceipts.ca, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

We provide a service to generate CRA-compliant charity receipts for Canadian nonprofit organizations. The service includes both free and paid tiers.

You are responsible for ensuring all information provided is accurate and that your organization is eligible to issue charity receipts under Canadian law.

Your organization is responsible for maintaining its own books and records, including duplicate copies of official donation receipts as required by the Canada Revenue Agency. Copies retained or emailed by the service are provided for convenience only. Download and keep your own copies of issued receipts, including the PDF archive offered after each import.

Free tier users are limited to 1 receipt per CRA registration number per day, with a maximum donation amount of $10,000 CAD.

Credit purchases are non-refundable. Credits do not expire. Standard cash receipts cost 1 credit. Non-standard receipts (Gift-in-Kind, Gift-with-Advantage, corrections) cost 2 credits.

We provide this service "as is" and make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of generated receipts. Users are responsible for verifying compliance with all applicable regulations.
